SHAYLYN STEOGER, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Hello! My name is Shay. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work from Fordham University and I'm currently licensed to practice in both Florida and Utah. I have over 8 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Prior to becoming a mental health therapist, I spent 4 years working with women in substance use recovery to rebuild their lives and strengthen their families.
I currently support clients with a wide range of needs relating to anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, identity, trauma, relationship dynamics (i.e. divorce, co-dependency, abuse) and more. I am passionate about using a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and solution-focused approach and I have experience using several effective modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Art Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and Play Therapy. One of my favorite aspects of being a therapist is getting to cross paths with so many unique individuals on their journey of happiness, healing, and self-discovery!
