SARAH LESAR
Client Care Coordinator

Hello and welcome!

As Client Care Coordinator, I will most likely be your first point-of-contact. I strive to make everyone feel at ease and supported in their journey to find the right counselor.

I am originally from Northwest Indiana. During the past 2 decades, I have been able to live in many places across the United States. This diverse opportunity has provided me with a strong understanding of what it means to be resilient, empathetic and adaptable.

It is my pleasure to introduce you to the Calm Waters Wellness team and I look forward to talking with you!

ERICA WOOTEN, LCSW, QS
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Practice Owner

In a world where outward perfection is often valued more than inner peace, it is easy to get lost. I am a licensed therapist who can help you heal from the inside out by treating your mind, body and spirit. I have nearly two decades of experience supporting clients of all abilities and often incorporate brain-based education into my practice. I specialize in working with teens and adults struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and learning disabilities. I also work with struggling parents and families to restore balance in their lives. It is my belief that once you understand how your mind works, you can better manage the thoughts, feelings and choices blocking your progress. I take an integrative approach to therapy based on your unique needs. I strongly believe in treating the WHOLE person by addressing issues that not only impact your mental health but also your quality of life.

In addition to incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness, I offer Walk & Talk Therapy. In the busyness of life, it can be challenging to prioritize self-care in ways that truly nourish us—getting outside, moving our bodies, and clearing our minds. Walk & Talk Therapy provides a practical and natural approach to improving overall well-being by combining movement with meaningful change. If you are ready to set out on a new path forward with more practical and natural ways to improve your overall health, I would love to help!

I specialize in addressing anxiety and negative thinking patterns, employing effective therapeutic techniques that emphasize Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). With a patient-centered focus, my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore and overcome their struggles, guiding them toward a path of emotional well-being and personal growth.

JONITA JACOBS, LMHC,QS
Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Starting with the first session, we begin to lay the foundation of our working relationship as we discuss your strengths, triumphs, but also opportunities for growth and change. We will explore your background, including cultural influences, and what has made you, you. That first step of coming in can be difficult and uncomfortable, but the path that it leads to can be an amazing journey of self-discovery!

My name is Jonita Jacobs, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a degree in Clinical Psychology-counseling specialization. I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. My experience is in many areas, but my focus has been on helping adolescents and adults that struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and abuse. My other area of focus has been substance use disorders as I am also a Master’s level Certified Addiction Professional. My style is individualized, suited to meet my clients where they are, and appreciate their intersections of diversity. I am person-centered, while empowering clients to explore their thoughts as it impacts their feelings and actions to provide practical coping skills. I utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness.

MIA MUDANO, MSW
Registered Clinical Social Work Intern

Hi! My name is Mia. As a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, I bring a compassionate and client-centered approach to working with children, adolescents, young adults and families. My experience includes supporting young people through challenges such as anxiety, emotional regulation, and behavioral concerns using play therapy techniques, cognitive behavioral strategies (CBT), and skills to build emotional vocabulary and coping abilities.

With a foundation in social work, I approach therapy with a holistic lens—considering not just the individual, but the larger picture: their family dynamics, cultural identity, life experiences, and the societal factors that shape their world. I’m extremely passionate about the idea that our experiences shape us, and within every challenge there is opportunity to grow. I believe every person already holds the strength and insight needed to create meaningful change. My role is to help guide and empower clients to discover and use the tools within themselves to move forward. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where children and their families feel
heard, valued, and equipped to grow through life’s challenges.

CAMERON CESTARI, MA
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Hi, I’m Cameron, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a deep passion for walking alongside others as they navigate life’s challenges, process their stories, and move toward healing and freedom.

My own journey into the counseling field was shaped by personal experiences of growth, hardship, and healing, which have given me a deep respect for the courage it takes to step into therapy. I believe that powerful things can happen when we’re given a safe space to be fully seen and heard. My goal is to create that space for you—one that is warm, nonjudgmental, and grounded in hope.

I enjoy working with individuals navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, body image concerns, life transitions, and trauma. I have a special interest in helping those who feel stuck in their relationship with food and body. Working towards certification as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) is important to me.

My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) with a desire to integrate faith if and when it feels meaningful to your journey.

Clients have shared that they experience me as compassionate, real, and welcoming—a steady presence as they navigate both the challenges and growth in their lives. It’s an honor to walk alongside others in the highs, lows, and everything in between—and I would be honored to walk alongside you, too.

I specialize in working with veterans, first responders, and their families, as well as individuals navigating trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Additionally, I work with children, providing a safe space where they can feel comfortable and understood. My passion is helping all people feel seen, understood, and empowered to heal — not just in mind, but in spirit.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can be your authentic self and take steps toward growth and peace. My heart for service has always been at the center of what I do, and I’m honored to walk alongside others on their journey to healing.
